Haven't posted in a while

It's been awhile since I've posted. Since working has consumed my time, with a seven day a week schedule, it's difficult to find the time to do anything personal, so some things have been on temporary hold, or I've simply forgotten because I'm (not surprising)tired. This season has started out quite strangely really. With the economy slowing down, most businesses have been effected---the B&B is included. Some days we are fairly busy, weekends are still pretty hectic with a full or almost full house, weekdays vary, so sometimes it's very slow. All rather unpredictable, and not like past seasons. Gas prices, food prices-----all rising, so people are not travelling as they have in the past, and things are very difficult financially for alot of people. With so many repairs having to be made here at the Bed and Breakfast, and one thing after another, Helen has had a challenging time trying to make ends meet for this particular business, since the amount of business we're getting so far probably can't even cover the cost of the food. With the buffet we serve daily and the price of food which is astronomical---no surprise there!!!!Our costs are rising, but the price we charge the guests has not, so logically speaking, doesn't even out or even break even .
